Which type of material is used for the kiln tyre and for supporting rollers?

Support Roller are usually harder than Kiln Tyre because Kiln Tyre rotaing time and Supporting Roller rotating time is very much higher and also total kiln weight on Supporting Roller assembly and bearing housing.

So, generally kiln tyre and supporting roller material are used Steel casting IS 2708 Grade – 2 Hardness 180-200 BHN, IS 2708 Grade – 3hardness 200-255 BHN, IS 2644 Grade CS 700, supporting roller Casting Steel GS20Mn5 Equipvalent EN-19 grade and Forged Steel AISI 4140 Kiln Tyre Ring and Support Rollering normally used EN-8, EN-9, EN-19 Forged Steel, EN-24 Forging Alloys Steel, Support Rollering also used Cast Steel IS 2708 Grade – 3, and Cast Steel IS 2708 Grade – II.
